Falls Lake is much like Jordan Lake. Plenty of rarities turn up here, especially after hurricanes! Bald Eagles and Osprey abound in summer. Shorebirding can be excellent if water levels drop in the fall. Ducks are usually not abundant, but some good ones show up. Falls Lake extends from Wake County into Durham and Granville Counties all areas are covered here.
